deer was discovered among the logs in a

The population of Barnside has increased

for you." sai l I, "many happy returns of
the occasion," and I wheeled and started
lor the wigwam again, when he hallowed,
"01 1 Ren, was you ever a 'pap ?' " "Not
as I know of," I replied, and hastened on.

in Falls City, Nebraska, Mrs. Elizabeth
K. Frank, wife of M. A. Frank. Fso,., for
merly of this place, aged about 5U years.
The deceased was intimately known by
all iir ibis place and vicinity. She was a
most kind, accommodating and sympathis
ing friend and neighbor, and a sincere and
earnest Christian. All deeply regret her
sudden demise, and sincerely sympathise
with the bereaved family in their sore dis
tress on account of their great and irrepara
ble loss. But she is goua. Let the depart
ed dear one rest in peace. And may we all,
like ber, strive to reach that haven above,
where there is no piiin, nor sorffw, nor part
ing, but where all is peace, and love, and
joy forevermore.
