July 27-2L The Ebcnsburg Atlcgltrnian says: On Monday last, during 'the prevalence of a thunder stortn; Mr. Joseph Grasberger, of Carroll township, was driving a team of two horses attached to a wagon loaded with hay toward his barn. On top of the hay were two little sons of Mr. G. A ibolt of light ning descended upon the wapon, and did the following fearful damage : One of the boys was killed outright, the clothing of the oth er was set on fire, burning him severely, the two horses fell dead in their tracts, the load of hay was burned np, and the wagon was considerably charred.
