SJienck's Pulmonic Srrup, See weed Tonic and Mandrake Pil'.sjrill core Ccin snmption. Liver Con.plaint and lyspepia. if ta cen according to diiections. Tbey are alt three to be liken at the same time. They aleanse the stomach, relax the liver, and pat it to work ; then the appetite becomes good, the food digests and zakes good blood, the patient begins to grow in nesb the diseased matter ripens la the 1 ngs.and the patient outgrvws the disease and gets well. This is tha only way to ear the consumption. . To these three medicines Dr. J. Q. Schenck, of Philadelphia, awes his unrivalled success in tha treatment of pulmonary consumption. The Pul monic Syrap ripens the morbid matter in the longs, nature throws it off by aa easy expectora tion, for wben the phlegm or matter is ripe, a alight eongb will throw it off, and the patient has rest and tbe lasgs begin to heal. To do this, the Seaweed Tonie and Mandrake Pills must be freely used to cleanse the stomach and liver, so that tbe Pulmonic Syrup and tha food will make good blood. Liver Complaint is one of tbe most prominent causes .of Consumption, bchenck's Seaweed Ton ie is a gentle stimulant and alterative, and the alkali in the Seaweed, which this preparation is. mada of, assists the stomach to throw out the gas trie juice to dissolve the food with the Pulmonic Syrup, and it is made into good blood without fer mentatlon or souring in the stomach. The great reason why physicians do not cuie consumption is they try to do too much ; they give medicine to stop the cough, to stop chills, to stop night sweats, bectie fever, and by so doing they derange tbe whole digestive power). locking up the secretions and eventually tbe patient sicks and dies. Dr. Schenck. in his treatment, does not try to stop a coogh. night sweats chills or fever. Re move the cause.and they will all stop of their own accord No one can be eured of oonsumption.liv er complaint, dyspepsia, catarrh, eanker. ulcer ated throat, unlees the liver and stomacher made healthy. If person has jonsumption.of course the longs in some way are diseased, either tubercles, ab scesses, bronchial irrit.ntion, pleura adhesion, or the lungs are a maas of inflimation and fast de eaying. In such eases what must be done? It is not only the lungs that are wasted, but it is the whole bndv. The stomach and liver have lost their power to make blood out of food. Now the only chance is to laaescnencx s inree meaicines, which will bring up a tone to the stmach, tbe patient will begin cunt food, it will dig- st easily and make good blood ; then the patient begins to gain in flesh, and as won a the body begins to grow, tbe lungs heg:n to heal up. and the patient gels fleshy and well. Cbia is the only way te cure consumption. When there is no lung disease, and only liver complain! and dyspepsia, Schenck'i Seaweed Tonic and Mandrake Pills are sufficient without the Pulmonic Syrup. Take tbe Mandrare Pills freely in all bilious complaints, aa tbey are, j er tectlj harmless. ' Dr. Schenck. who has enjoyed uninterrupted health for many years past, and now weighs 225 pounds, was wasted away to a mere skeleton, in the very last stage of pulmonary consttmpiion, his physicians having pronounced bis ease hepelexs and abandoned b to his fate. He was eured by tbe aforesaid medicines.and since bis recovery many similarly afflicted have used L'r. Schenck 's preparations w ith the same remarkable success. Tbe directions accompanying each, make it not absolutely neoessary to see Dr. Scbenck. unlets tbe patients wish their lungs examined, and for this purpose he is Professionally at bis Principal Office, Philadelphia, every Saturday, where ail letters for advice must be addressed.
