SPECIAL NOTICE.
Sclienck's Pulmonic Stjruj),
Beeweed Tonic and Mandrake Pilli.will euro Con

to be taken at tbe same time. They eleanee the

the patient outgrows the disease and gets well.
Tbis is the only way to cure the consumption.
To these three medicines Dr. J. II. Sehenek, of
Philadelphia, owes his unrivalled sucoess in the
treatment of pulmonary consumption The Put
monic Syrdp ripens the morbid matter in the
lungs, nature throws it off by an easy expectora
tion, for when the phlegm or matter is ripe, a
slight cough will throw it off. and the patient baa
rest and the Inngs besjin to beal To do this, the
Seaweed Tonic and Mandrake Pills must be freely
used to cleatfe tbe stomach and liver so that the
Pulmonic Syrup and tbe food will make good
blood.
Mver Con.plaint is one of the mot prominent
sauc of Conroxpiioa ecuem-k V Soawcei I'm
io is a gentle siiuiUlaut and alterative, and b;

in via of. assists the Homacb to throw out the gas
trie juice to dissolve. th food with the Pulmonis
Syrup and it is made into good blood witboutfee
mentatloo or souring in the stomach The great
reason why physicians do not ton consumption la
they try to do too much ; bey give medicine to
stop the cough, to atop chills, to stop night sweats,
hectic fever, and by so doing they derange the
whole digestive powers.locking up the secretions
an. I eventually tbe patient sinks and dies.
Dr. Schenck. in his treatment, does not try to
stop a couh. night sweats chills or fever. Re
move the cause.and they will all stop of their own
accord No one can be cured of consumption, liv
er complaint, dyspepsia, cataxrh, canker, ulcer
ated throat.unlesslheliverandstoniJcb are made
healthy.
If a person hasconsumptlon.of course the lungs
in some way are diseasod. either tubercles, ab
scesses, bronchial irritation, pleura adhesion, or
tbe lungs are a mass of infl-imation and fast de
caying. In such esses what must be doneT It
is not only tbe longs that are wasted, but It is the
whole body. The stomach and liver have lost
tbeir power to make blood out of food. Now tbe
onlycbnnce is to takeScbenck's three medicines,
which will bring op a tone to the stomach, the
natient will befin want food, it will dig' St easily
and make good blood ; then the patient bogins to
gain in flesh, and as soon as the body begins to
grow, tbe lungs beg n to heal op. and the patient
gets fleshy and well. This is the only way to
cure consumption. f
When there is no lung disease, and only liver
complaint and dyspepsia, rjchenck'e Seaweed
Tooioand Mandrake Pills are sufficient without
the Pulmonic Syrup. Take the MandraVe Piils
treely in all bilious eompiaioU, as they are per
fectly bartn'ess.
Dr. Schenck. who bas enjoyed uninterrupted
healthTor many years past, and now weighs 22i
pounds, was wasted away to a mere skeleton, in
tbe very last stage of lulmonary consumption, hit
physicians having pronouncod bis case hopeless
and abandoned biui to his fate. He waa cured
by tbe aforesaid medtcines.and since bis recovery
many similarly afflicted bave used Dr. Schenck's
preparations witb tbe same remarkable success.
