SPECIAL NOTICE.
SchencIS 's Pulmonic Syrup,

the appetite becomes g.Kd. the fo.-.l digests and
makes g.Kd blood, the patient be5ins vj gro in
fles-h tbe diseased matter ripenj in tb 1 tgs and
tbe f.a'ifnt outgrew the disease and gets well.
This it ina oi.lv wiy to cure the coi.tum tion.
To lues. three medicines Dr. J. II. Schenck. of
Philadelphia, owes hU unrivallel sucees in tbe
treatment of pulmonary consumption The Pul
monic s-yrup ripens tl.e morbid matter in the
luncs nature throws it off by an ey expectora
tion, for when the phle-'m -r Wiatter is ripe, a
slight ruugh will throw it off. and the paiirr.t has
re?t and the lungs begin to heal To un this, tbe
Seaweed Tonic and Mandrake Pills must be frely
u.-ei to eleanse the stomach and liver, so that the
1'i.imoiiij yrup aid tbe food wiil make good
blood.
Liver Cpn.plBir.t is one of tbe mot prominent
C3a?es of Consumption s.chenck's Seaweed Ton
ic if a gentle s'iu'dnnt and alterative, and the
alkali iu the Seaweed, which this preparation is
mtda of. assittE the stomach to throw out tbe gas
trie juice to dissolve tbe fool with the Pulmonic
c-yrup-and it is made into good blood without f er
meiitattf.n or souring in the stomaeh Tbe great
reason why pbv.iiciansdo not cuie consnmption is
they try to do too ma.'h ; tbey give medicine to
-top the cough, to stop chiila. to stop night sweats,
hectic fever, and by so d.iirg they derange the
whule digestive powers locking up the secretions
ana eventually tbe r.atent sinas ana dies.
lr. tseberck. in bis treatment, does not try to
stop a cough night sweats chills or fever. Re
mo e the caue.and they will all stop of their own
afeord Xo one can be cured of consumption, liv
er complaint, dyspepsia, catarrh, canker, ulcer
ated throat unless the liver and stomach are made
healthy.
If a person tasconsnmprlon. of coarse the long
in some way are diseased, cither tubercles, ab
scefses. bronchial irritation, plenra adhesion, or
the lung are a mass of incarnation and fast de
caying. In such case what must be done ? It
is not only the longs that are wasted. but it is the
whole body. The stomach and liver have lost
their power rp make blool out of food. Now tbe
only chance is lo take Schecck's three medicines,
which will bring up a tone to the stomach, the
raticnt will begin want food, it will digest eas'ly
and make good blood : then tbe patient begins to
gain in dcb. and as soon a the body begins to
grow, the lung be; a to heal np. and the patient
gets firhy and well, -his U tbe only way to
cure eonsumption.
When there is no lung disease, and only liver
comidaint and cvspepsia, Schenck'a seaweed
Tonic and Mandrake Pills are sufficient without
