More Snow. On Monday and Tuesday
of this week, about eight inches of snow fell
in this region, which has had the effect to
mike tlie roads difficult of travel. We are
informed that, with this addition, in some
of the pine forests the enow now covers the
Sround to the depth of three and a half feet.
Commissioners' Fees. The following
paragraph from the House legislative pro
ceedings will be read with interest:
An act relating to the compensation of the
Commissioners of Clearfield county, granting S3
