The edifice presents a very handsome and for midable appearance, and, when finished, will be one of the largest and best church buil dings in Central Pennsylvania. , . , Arrest of a Murderer. -We see it sta ted that W. D. Graves, the alleged accom plice of Chase in the murder of Mrs M'Don al), in Jefferson county, was arrested at Grand Rapids, Michigan, about the 28th of October, and is now awaiting a. requisition for his removal to . Jefferson county. . Tie was arrested by Sheriffs Baily and Walker, of Kent and Newaygo counties, Michigan, who had a desperate fight to secure him. A Good One. On Sabbath evening a week, during his sermon, Rev. ' Upon being informed that it was german instead of latin, he exhibited some surprise to the no little amusement of his comrade. Montgomery Coitnty.-"-A singular case of accidental poisoning occurred recently in .Marlborough township. A little boy of elev en years, named Edward Heller, son of Jes se Lieller, noticed ttie birus eating some Der rieo which grew on the bushes near the house, and it occurred to him to kill the birds by putting poison on the berries. , Ac cordingly 'he procured some arsenic which was kept in the house ot his guardian, with whom he lived, and smeared a lot of ber ries with it as they hung upon the bushes. On the following day the boy passed along that way and noticed some of the, berries lying on the ground, and thoughtlessly pick ed them up and ate them, lie wad. taken sick, and, notwithstanding proper medical attendance, -died in two days after eating the berries. ;. . . - - How to Keep Cabbage.
