SCHENCK'S MEDICINES. To cure consumption, the system must be pre pared so that the lungs will heal. To accomplish, this, the liver and stomach must first be cleansed and an appetite created lor good wholesome food, which, by these medicines will be digested prop erly, and good healthy blood made ; thus build ing up the constitution, schenck s .Mandrake I'illscleanse the stomach of all bill ious or muou ous accumulations ; and. by using the Sea Weed Tonic in connection, the appetite is restored. Schenck's Pulmonic Syrnp is nutricionaas well as medicinal, and. by using the three remedies, all impurities are expelled from she system, and good, wholesome blood made, which will repel all disease. If patients will take these medicines according to directions, consumption very fre quently in its last stage yields readily to their ac tion. Take the Pills frequently, to cleanse th liver audsiomach. It does not follow that because the bowels are not costive they are not required, for sometimes in diarrhea they are necceesary. Thestomach must be kept healthy, and an appe tite created to allow the Pulmonic Syrup to act on the respiratory organs properly and allay an irritation. Then all that is required to perform a permanent cure is, to prevent taking cold x ercise about the rooms as much as possible, eat all the richest food fat meat, game, and: in fact. anything the appetite craves; but be particular and masticate well.
