and will have to separate, unless the Con
press of the nation will give them a place
for themselves, for so it was with Abraham
and Lot, so it is with us. and the sooner we
seek a home for our rising generation, the
better it is for us. Our final destiny, so
far as I can dimly see, is that in three hun
dred years it will le a rare thine to see a
colored man in this country. Like the In
dian, our race is destined to become extinct
