nesday at $1,50 per annum in advance. If not
paid at the beginning of the year, $2,00 will be
charged.
Advertisements will be inserted at S1.00 per
square, for three or less insertions Twelve lines
(cr less) counting a square. For every additional
insertion 25 cents will be charged. A deduction
will be made to yearly advertisers.
No subscription taken for a shorter : time than

The New York Tribune, founded inlSli,wiil
enter upon its twenty-fourth year with rjuu-kened

principles need no re-f-tatement : its aims are the
diffusion of Intelligence and the inculcation of a
spirit of Freedom and Humanity. AVhen this

tablished as the basis of our institutions and poli
ty, that injustice to the poorest, the weakest, the

ed without profit to its proprietors, solely because
of the depreciation of our Currency below the

receipts from Advertising have been wholly ab
