LINDSEY'S
BLOOD SEARCHER.
In renewing of my acquaintance with the many
friends of my medicine. 1 deem it proper to cau
tion them and the public, generally, against the
use of an article prepared and sold by a man call
ing himself -Geo. H. Keyser, Pittsbury, Pa.," who
has the impudence to call it
LINDSEY'S IMPROVED BLOOD SEARCHER,
and states that it is made from my recipe, and, as
if to carry out a regular game of 'Stop Thief."
he tells the public that -there is a counterfeit hi
tbe market." to see that his name is over theoork
of every bottle'' Ac. He also publishes the most
extravagant certificate headed "A Blind Man
Cured" "A BadSore Leg Cured," Ac. I allowed
him to proceed in this" way lor nearly twelve
mouths, knowing that thoee who had either used
or sold my article would have nothing to do with
his, but I found there was a number unacquaint
ed with mine who were induced from the above
statements to give his a trial The consequence
was disappointment to them and injury to me. as
they would at once pronounce Lindsey's Blood
Searcher a humbug, without knowing that ouhs
was the
ONLY GENUINE BLOOD SEARCHER
which has proved itself to be invaluable in the
cure of
Scrofula. Cancerous formations, Cutaneous dis
eases. Erysipelas. Boils. Pimples on the face,
Sore eyes. Scald Head, Tetter affections,
- Old and stubborn Uleers. Rheumatic -Disorders.
Dyspepsia, Costiveness.
Jaundice, bait Kheuin, Mercurial diseases. Gen
eral debility. Liver complaint, Loss of appe
tite, Low spirits. Foul stomach. Female
complainu. Together with ait other
disorders from an improper con
dition of the circulatory system. As a general Ton
ic, its effects are most benignant, acd cannot
fail to benefit, where useJ pereeveringly,
and according to directions.
Those desiring my genuine Blood Searcher
must be careful in purchasing, as counterfeit med
icine is like Counterfeit money, it can be afforded
at low prices which U a sufficient inducement
with some to endeavor to palm it off for genuine ;

FRIENDS AND RELATIVES OF THE
BRAVE SOLDIERS AND SAILORS.
HOLLO WAY'S
PILLS AND OINTMENT.
Alt who have. Friends and Relatives in the Ar
my and Navy should take especial care that they
be amply supplied with these Pills and Ointment ;
and where tbe brave Soldiers and Sailors have
neglected to provide themselves with them, no bet
ter present can be sent them by their Friends.
They have been proved to be the Soldier's aever

Coughs and CokLs Affecting Troops,
Will be speedily relieved and effectually cured by
lining these aitcirable medicines, and by paving
proper attention to tbe Directions which are at
tached to each Pot or Box.
Sick Headache and Want of Appetite, Inciden
tal to Soldiers.
These feelings which so sadden us usually arise
from trouble or annoyances, obstructed perspira
tion, or eating and drinking whatever is unwhole
some, thus disturbing the healthful action of tbe
Liver and Stomach. These organs most be reliev
ed, if you desire to be well. The Pills taken ac
cording to th printed instructions, will quickly
produce a healthy action in both Liver and Stom
ach, and as a natural consequence, a clear haad
and good appetite.
Weakness or PeMlity Induced by Over Tati jne
Will soon disappear by the use of these invalua
ble Pills, and the Soldier will quickly acquire ad
ditional strength Never let tne Bowels be eicher
confined or unduly acted upon It may seem
strange, that Uolloway's Pills should be'recom
mended for Dysentery and Flux, many persons
supposing lhat tbey would increase the relaxation.
Tnis is a great mistake, for these Pills will correct
the Liver and Stomach, and thus remove all the
acrid humors from thVsystem. This medicine will
give tone and vigur to the whole organic system,
however deranged, while health and strength fol
low as a matter of course. Nothing will stop the
relaxation of the Bowels so sure as this medicine.
Yolnatfers, AtteaUonl-Iaiiscrfetiont of Youth.
Sores and Ulcers, Blotches and Swellings, can
with certainty be radically cured, if the Pills an
taken night and morning, and the Ointment be
freely used .is suted in the printed icstructions.
If treated in any other manner, they dry up in
one part to break out in another. Wherea ibis
Ointment will remove the humors from (be system,
and leave the Patient a healthy and vigorous man.'
It will require a little perseverance in bad caes
to insure a lasting oure.
For Wounds either occasioned by the 3ayonet,
Sabre, or the Bullet, Screi or Btuisea.
To which every Soldier or Sailor are liable, there
are no medicines so saf, sure, and convenient, as
Hollo way's Pills and Ointment The poor wound,
