Convention, resolved to support Hon. Edward
Bates for the Presidency. Delegates were ap
pointed to the Chicago Convention, and an c

A pretty girl was lately complaining to a

paid at tho beginning of the year, 2,00 will be

ed. A deduction will be made to yearly adver
tisers. No subscription taken for a shorter time than

the great excitement about the removal of the
Court House has subsided, the community gener
ally have become somewhat excited upon hearing
that (Jharly Watson has determined to pull up
stakes and remove to Virginia. But the latest
