TONICS WON'T DO ! They never did do
more than give temporary relief and they
never will. It is because thev don't touch the
CAUSE of lho disease. The CAUSE of all aguo
and bilious diseases is the atmospheric poison cal
led Miasma or Malaria. Neutraliza this poison by
its NATURAL ANTIDOTE, and all diseases cau
sed by it disappears at once. Rhodes' Fever and
Ague Cure is this Antidote to Malaria, and more
over it is a perfectly harmless medicine. Tho cer
tificate of tho celebrated chemiit. J. R. Chilton,
of New York, to this effect, is attached to every
bottle : therefore if it doc's no good it can do no
harm.
This is more than can be said of Quinine, Arsen
ic, or any tonic in existence, as their use is ruin
ou's to the constitution and brings on DUM B AG UK
which never allows a person to fell perfectly well
forasingVtuioiaent. In illustration of these truths
I annex some extracts from a letter just received
from a Fbysician :
GEORGETOWN. OHIO, March 17, 1856.
JAS. A: RHODES, Esq. Dear Sir: Yours of
2d inst. is at hand. The Cure arrived late last
year and the difficulty in getting any one to try it
was greatlv increased from tho tact that a remedy
had been introduced which was growing in favor
with the public, as being better than using Qui
nine, not knowing, I presume the remedy they
used to escape taking Quinine, contained the drug
itscir. lho remedy, (known as "Muith s ionic, )
would invariably break an ague.but it did not cure
it, as it would return with renewed vigor. -This
one circumstance I deemed in your favor, if I
could institute a test comparison botwcen.it and
your cure. The following is tho result: Three
persons took your "cure," all of which were cases
of '-Quotidian InterniittentFever," of many weeks
standing. They had tried quinine, and other rem
edies, occasionally missing a chill, but it was (as
in all such eases; slowly wearing them out, and
laying the foundation of other and severer mala
dies. I did succeed in effecting a radical cure in
all three cases with your remedy, after "Smith's
Tome" bad railed. I think there will be no diffi
culty now in giving to your -Curo" the vantage
- ground of any other remedy now in use here. tc.
WILLIAM BUCKNER, M. D.
Rhodes' Fever and Ague . Cure, or Antidote to
Malaria, the only harmless remedy in existence, is
equally certain as a preventiva, as a '-cure." Take
it when you feel thechill coming on, and you will
never have a single one. JAS. A. RIIOADS,
Proprietor, Providence, R I.
