G1IVE THE. II A ATRIAL: SILVER'S
W PLASTIC PAINTS : CHEAP, DURA
BLE A XI) PR O TEC TI YE.
WEATHER &FJBE-PB00F.
These Paints will stand any climate, without
crack or blister, and harden by exposure; thus
making in time an enamel of tftonc, protecting
Wood from decay, and Iron and other metals from
rn?t and corrosion.' They differ essentially from
the so-called Mineral Paints of the day, which aro
principally Ochrc3- and Clays, and are entirely
worthless.
SILVER'S Plastic Taints are purely METAL
fC. containing no Alnmin or Clay.
They are levigated finely, mix readily with Lin
seed Oil, (without the trouble of grinding.) and
flow under the brush as freelp as the best White
Lead, and excel all others in body or covering
properties, one pound of which will cover as much
surface as two pounds of White Lead, reducing the
co?t two-thirds. There are six distinct colors, viz :
Olive, I Lisht Brown, I Light Ctocclatc,
Black, I Dark Do. Deep Do.
All equally valuable as a preservative, and par
ticularly adapted to painting the outside of
LUILDINGS, FENCES, STEAMBOATS, CARS,
TIN AND IKON WORKS.
Kememees ! Exposure hardens aud increases
the durability of these PAINTS.
DIRECTIONS Mix with pure Lin teed Oil, at
thielhj at poxxille. as the Paint is the tasting or
protecting body, and the oil simply the medium,
4ir ageut in spreading it.
