The terms of payment will be that, when one-half of the
materials and labor provided for in the contract shall have
been completed to the satisfaction of the department, there
will be made a payment of 3i part of the whole amount of

and ready ftir ereetion in the ship a further payment of
wilt be made; dial when a satisfactory trial of seven con
secntive days shafthays bean made, then a farther payment
