Mr. Bailey is a generous, genial, courteous gentleman, and
wherevir he goes he wins the admiration and respect of all
who know him. The bill offered for this evening is one in
which he will have ample scope for displaying his arlistica;

In both thcce characters he has been very successful e lEe

MANNT'A MOWER AND REAPED.—We exaralned yesterday
ono cf the best and most complste machines for the pur

manufactured by A. Patchen, Wes field, N. Y., tinder the
Manny patent. This machine has met with unparalleled
success, both in this country and Europe, and the farmers
in our vicinity who have seen it in operation, speak 5n high
terms cf its capabilities. The workmanship and finish of
the machine is superior, and some important improvements
here been added this season. We would recommend form( r 3
visiting the city to call and examine it. Ons advantage
paszessed by this machine over others is that, while it is the
best extant, it is sold at a much lower price. Mr. John
