Otnautrown, Ohio, March 17,1866.
JAS. A. RHODES, FAq.--Dear Sir: Yours of Id inst. is at
hand. The Cure arrived late last year and the difficulty in
getting any one to try It was greatly increasell'from the
fact that a remedy had been Intrlidliced•which watt - growing

This remedy, known as Smith's Tonle, would invarialny
break an ague, hut it did not cure it, as it would often re
turn with renewed vigor. • This one circumstance I deemed
in your favor, if I could institute atest comparison between
it and your Cure. The following is the remit:
Three
Three persons took your Cure, all of which were cases of
Quotidian Intermittent Fever, of many weeks standing.
They had-tried Quinine, and ther remedies, occasionally •
miming a chili, but it wan (as in all such cases) slowly wear

nut had a chill since. In all three of these cases the Smith's
Tunic had been used, and would, as before stated, break the
dull, but after a period or two had elapsed it would return.
I think there will be no difficulty now in giving to your
Cure the vantage ground of any other remedy now in use
here, An., Ac. WILLIAM BOOKNER4 M. D.
RHODES' FEVER and AGUE CURE, or ANTIDOTE TO
MALARIA, the only harmless remedy in existence, is
equally certain as a PREVENTIVE, as a CURE. Take it
when you feel the chills coming on, audyon will never have
a single one.
