The Navy Appropriation bill was passed, and the Senate adjourned. House.—Mr. Walbridge, from the Committee on Public Lands, reported a bill for the construction of a railroad and line of telegraph from the western boundary of Missouri and lowa, at a point north of the 38th and south of the 44th degree, to some point un the Pacific Railroad. It is substantially the same as that prepared by the Select Committee. The struggle between the friends and foes of the measure was on points of order. A motion made by Mr. Orr to postpone the consideration of the bill until the second Monday of December was lost by the casting vote of Speaker. A joint resolution allowing 60 additional days, during which the creditors of Texas can present their claims to the Treasury Department was passed. Nearly $400,000 remain unpaid. The House passed about 50 private bills, and then adjourned. THREE DAYS LATER FROM EUROPE ADDITIONAL BY THE CANADA PHILADELPHIA, August 12.—The papers brought by the Canada, bring little general news in addition to advioes by the Anglo Saxon at Quebec, and the Arago at New York. The ship Cortelln, from Philadelphia, arrived at Londonderry on the 28th ult. SPAIN. RUSSIA From Kansas Kansas and Nebraska Eissourl Election Steamer Daniel G.
