Patent Finishing Plane.

This invention to intended fur use where It In dedired
Im
part a tine, smooth, and glossy surface to the wood; Lot It is
applicable, with advantage, to all kind of carpenter's planes.
The novelty consists In placing the cutting chisel. ur Lit, in
front of the wodge, instead of behind, as in common planes;
also in akplying a metallic mouth-piece to the taco of the
plane, in front of the chisel, which mouth piece serves an the
rest for the clihni, and confines the throat of thu plane.
But the mouth piece is to cit., to the edge of the bit as to
prevent the plane front ripping or splintering the a - 04.0 in
the least degree. Indeed. we have OIVII the miplenient
plied to the planing of wor.wi against the grain, and litmus
verily to the grain, leaving the woad perfectly smooth. So
perf,t is the operation of this itoitrutuimh that it tua)
plied to the planing of veneen—with eat tea
Wing which cannot wsfely done by the rannuon plane.
The peculiar arrangement of the moutn piiire, bit. and
wedge, affords a conmlete and firm Gearutg ter ilia hit
throughout inn whole length. and dlapenwiii,
cum stances. with the use of a cap or 11,:111.1r bit.
This is a very simple and effective improvement. defined,

It is-because they don't touch the cause of the disease. The

its natural antidote, and all disease ceased by it disappears

The certificate of the celebrated chemist, J. It. Chilton, of
New York, to this effect, le attached to every bottle; there-
fore if it does no good it can do nn harm.
Thin is more than can be said of quinine, Arsenic, or any,

and brings on Dumb Ague, which never allots a person to

This - remedy, known as Smith's Tonic, would tuvariabl

in your favor, if I could Institute a test compariam between
it and your Cure. The following la the result; .
Three persons took your Cure, all of which word cases of
Quotidian Intermittent Fever, or many weeks standing.
They had tried Quinine, and other remedies, occasionally
missing a chill, bat it was (as in all such cases) slowly wear

all three of these cases with your remedy, and they harts
not had a chill since. In all thrucof these cases the Smith's

chill, but after a period or two had elapsed it would return.

RHODES' FEVER and AGUE CURE, or ANTIDOTE TO
