Rochester is all alive with new improvements, and
now is the time to secure valuable locations at
cheap rates. I%lochittists, mechanics, masons,
carpenters, plasterers„ painters, &c., &., are in
great request.
The Cur Establishment is like a bee-hive with
industey. A large Fire Brick Establishment is
now being built id town. The new and splendid
Railroad Bridge across the mouth of the Beaver
is progressing rapidly, and in a few weeks the
railroad track will be completed, and' cars run
ning into Rocl, rster from Wellsville, Steubenville, .
Wheeling, Cleveland, and„ail the cities North,
South and West. Our two new churches are.
about completed, and others will soon be added.
A large hotel will soon be commenced ;.olso,
Locumative Establishment, to occupy four acres
of ground, and give'employmont to hundreds, of
hands.
Notbihg will prevent Rochester from growing
to be a large city. Families are arrivingevery
week from the 'eastern cities, and if we had
twenty or fifty more houses, they could at once
be rented for fifteen per cent. on theircost. Lots
are yet very cheap and convenient to business,
and will he sold on easy terms; twenty or thirty
lots will be sold for labor of different kinds.
Rochester is but one hour from Pittsburgh.
