She draws good houses when others play to a beggarly array of empty boxes—and at this time Is as popular as the night she first delighted a Pittsburgh audience. It is thus, also, in other:cities. Indeed, wherever Miss Maggie appears she has a happy faculty of making hosts of friends—friends who do not look upon her with a Cold criticism, but who appreciate her shortcomings as well as her many excellencies, and yet find enough in her personations to dall forth applause of no stinted kind. What should ever commend her to a generous people is the fact that her efforts are not not merely for her own support, but also for her mother, and since her first essay she has allowed no such word as " fail " be known in her vocabulary. To-night she appears in two 'capital comidiettsis. Lot there be a full house.
