The friends of the boys were of the opinion that the magistrate was acting improperly in the premises, and, through Mr. John Mellon, sued out a .writ of habeas rorpus. Yesterday, the two boys were brought before Judge Hampton, and the case argued at some length. His Honor sustained the magistrate in his decision, and remanded the defendants to jail again, to serve out the term of imprisonment for which they were originally sen tenced.
