NOTIIER PROOF of the e@cacy of Dr. Click j23,. ner's Sugar Coated Pills in removing worms from children. Read and be convinced. - This isio certify that my child Eliza, between five and aux years of age, having been for along time past drooping, and getting much worse of late, neither myself nor my wife being aware what was the mat ter With-her ' I thought perhaps one of Dr.Clickner's pills might du her good—leave her one at bed time, _which acted on the bowels and expelled a Tape worm four feet long, and a great number of worms, (over one hundred) about oue inch long apparently of the. same species. I have always been much opposed to advertised Medicines, but through the advice of a friend who strenuously recommended them to me, I was induced 'to try them, and it was througlL the great benefit I derived from their use in, my complaint, that I felt 'disposed to, give a dose to my daughter, although I knew not then what was the matter with her; and I 'verily believe that had not the worms been dischar ged, she would not have survived to the present time. She commenced rapidly to improve and is now quite hearty and . . WILLIAM COOPER. Croghansrilk, near Pittsburgh, Jiily 16, 1846. THIS fact is clearly demonstrated wherever we have a sudden change in the weather. it is at this time that the seed of Consumption is sown in the system nurtured until the Lungs become serious ly and dangerously diseased, when in all probability the patient, for the first time, will begin to seek re lief. How many thousands thus neglect theniselyes hnd suffer their Health, and finally their Life to be destroyed. The first preceptible foot-prints of CON SUMPTION, experienced at sudden changes of the weather, are Hoarseness and Cough, Soreness of the Throat, and Irritation of the Bronchi. Pain in the Head, Coldness of the feet, and Sudden Chilliness 'over the Body. At length the cough increases, and finally prostration and languidness of the whole sys tem fidldws, which indicate a sudden decline of Health, and the speedy approach of ConsumptiOn. the facts, plain as they, appear to every sensible perSondo not, however, seem to alarm those afflicted, until it may be to late,. It is therefore of the great est importance for those who may be attacked from ate iffBcts of sudden changes in our atmosphere to at on c procure DR. DUNCAN'S Celebrated Expecto rant Remede, thegreatest preventive and Life guard of CONSUMPTION, and the only certain medicine that will remove disease and again restore the LUNGS to their former Health. It is said! that in con sequence of this movement on the ;part of the CaliforniaS, the ()dicer in command of the Ameri can squadron had hoisted the flag of the United States on this portion of the Mex:lcati territory. "Vice Admiral 'Seymour had proceeded to the! Southward for the purpose. it was said, of collect ing his squadron, and ,we should imagine that a collision must be almost inevitable." .
