The constitution of the animals and vegetables of the forest, is such that they could not endure the cold of the frigid zone, and vice ,sea. In regard to diseases and its cure, the adaption is more or less striking. The Mo.; or Iceland, the Wild Cherry and Pines of all Northern. latitudes (and "Dr. WivrAres BAL SAM" is a compOund chemical extract from these. ; have long been celebrated for complaints prevalent only in cold climates. WmrArt's BALSAM or WILD Cocanr, always trium pliaut! cure follows cure in its onward victorious career! PATrox, Feb, llth, ISIS J. IV. Tnittnote.—Dear Sir: As youare the reg ular authorized agent in Anton, Mr the sale or" Dr. NVistaes Balsam or Wild Cheery," I take this meth od of' making a statement or ricts to you (winch hope may be published to the world) in reMrence to an almost miraculous cure, wrought in my case by means er the above Invaluable Balsam. Language fails to describe the salutary effect's it pro duccd, and the great benefit I derived from its use. The citizens of Dayton and vicinity, well recol lect that on the Bth of" August last, I received seri ous injury from the explosion of a cannon. A per thin of its contents entered my right side and breast; and in all probability, some fragments or splinters of the ram-rod passed through the "plura," and pierced the Lungs. After the lapse of about six weeks, I was attacked with a distressing, cough and a rlolent 1)411 in my right side, Some ten days after this when in a par oxysm- of coughing, suddenly and ULCER broke, and a largo quantity of very offensive matter; mixed with . blood, was 'discharged; most of which connd passage through the opening of the wound. From this epening ' there frequently passed a quantity of airi supposed. to issue from the lungs. During this time my sufferings were almost intolerable. , My physicians, meanwhile paid the strictest atten tion to me, and dill all in their power for my recov ery. Dia with all their skill they could nut reach the seat of distress, after the Lungs had become affect ed. I was visited during this time by at least twenty Physicians. It was now reduced to a certainty, that intimation of the lungs was rapidly taking place; and that this would terminate my life in a very short time, was in the highest degree!probabie. At this critical smge, a messenger was despatched to Cincinnati, and a celebrated Physician of that place was consulted. When he was made acquaint ed with my situation, he remarked that nothing could be done by medical aid, if the constitution itself was not sufficient to thiow off the disease. My friends now despaired of my recovery, and I had no eaithly ground ofhope to survive many days. Fortunately at this juncture, 1 saw one of Dr. Wig tars Painphlets, entitled "Family Medical Guide," or "Treatise on Consumption of the Lungs." As I had often heard of dying men "catching at straws," I fiat this doing so myself. By the consent of my Physicians, I,Oent to you for a bottle of the medicine .described viz: ."Wislar , s Balsam of IVi d Cherry,•? which- relieved me ahnost immediately. Alter I had used some five or six bottles I solar recovered as lobe up and aboul.• My cough ceased, and my lungs were restored to, a healthy state—all from the heal ing and balmy influence and powerful medicinal Wr itten of Wistar's Balsam. . . Were it not from the external injury I regeived in my shoulder and arm by- the explosion, Plbel eon& dent that I might have been Working : at my trade (which is blacksmilllMO hut ibis haspreventeti. By exposure, I have since taken several severe reolds, and my only renirdy has been - . "the balsam." And I- now most cordially recommend the'genuine Balsam to all who are afflicted with Colds, Coughs; or Lung Complaints.' • I consider it an inval uable medicine—a real blessing to the world. - Any person-desiring futiher information, may call on tne anytime. yours truly, .
