perfect health for four or five yenta. Physicians told

1 took a Ogle cold, which produced a hacking cough;
this continued until Febtunty, 1845, when I added
another cold; my cough increased. I soon lost my ap•

not speak a loud word for two weeks. Withal! there

between my shoulders; general debility followed, I
was confined to my room about eight weeks. 1 had
buried a sister and brother, both died with Consump.
lion. 1 expected to die myself; my friends also de,.

been benefited himself, advised me to take Dr %Vistas's!
Balsam of Wild Cherry. I accordingly procured ti
bottle, took it, and felt some better; obtained another;
and a third: then I ceased to bleed, and my cough was

M Those who Counterfeit n good medicine for
tho purpose of adding a few dollars to their pockets,
are far worse than the manufacturers of spurious coin:
For while the latter only rubs us of our property,
the forme take property andheulth and life awtty,--
Dr. WISTAII'S Balsam of Wild Cherry is admitted
by thousands of disinterested witnesses, to have effect:
ed the most extraordinary cures in cases of a pulmo
nary and asthmatic character ever before recorded in
this history of medicine.
The young, and beautiful, the gond, all speak forth
its praise. It is now the favorite medicine in the
most intelligent families of our country.
Such a high stand in public estimation has been a.
chivied by its own merits alone. And so long as a
discerning public are careful to get Wistar's Bal.

substitute, so long will cures—positive cures—cheer

subjected. The client was supported at each corner,
at an elevation of 10 to 10 inches from the ground a
fire of Bituminous coal and fire was made over and
around end kept actively burning 54 consecutive
beers. The fuel consumed was about 80 bushels of
coal, and one cord of wood; the heat all the while be.
lag quite intense, and in the opinion of the undersign.
ed much greater thane safe is likely to sustain in any
ordinary house teenier.
On the removal of &tire. at their requert the chest
was opened. and greatly to the astonishment of the
undersigned and the large number of citzens present,
a Blank Book with Sundry Bank flues within its
