For the Thansportation of Produce,
and Merchandise, to and from
PITTSBURGH, BALTIMORE AND PHILADELPHIA.
No Transhipment.
THE subscribere, Agents fur a number of the best
Portable Boat 3, forming a regular daily Line, be
tween Pittsburgh and the Eastern cities, will be fully
prepared, on too opening of navigation, to :hip a large
amount of produce and :Merchandise with despatch
and on accomoduting terms.
The great IIIICCPS3 which has characterised ibis mode
of tranvortatinn on the Penns' Canals and Railroads,
during the last few yeals, notwititstt;nding the 0pr,,,:
shine of long established companies, and is a pretty
sure indication of its superiority over the old plan of
tramihipping at the different terminuus of canals and
railroads.
We therefore ask for the Independent Poi table Boat
Line a liberal share of patronage.
Produce or Merchant - line consigned to us for ship
ment will be forwarded immediately on arrival free of
any charge for commission, storage or Insurance.—
