A N ORDINANCE to authorize the Mayor to is-
Pl. sue Bonds for the payment of the lot of ground
on which the Duquesne Engine House is erected.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by the
Select and Common Councils of the city of Pittsburgh,
[hat the Mayor be and he hereby is instructed to is
sue the Bond or Bonds of the said city for the sum of
Fifteen hundred dollars, bearing six per cent interest,
and redeemable in ten years. froret.the 10th disi , of
March, 1846, which Bond or Bonds - were 'authorized
to be issued by Resolution of the 4th of April, 18461
in payment for Lot pmeinioed for use of Duquesne
Engine and Hose Company. The said Bond or
Bonds to be given to the Executor of the estate of
1 5 1 Hunter. deceased, upon the delivery to the Corn
rnittee of the Engines and Hose ola fee simple Deed
for the Lot above referred to.
Ordained and enacted into a law in Councils this
9th day of March, A. D. 1846.
