Doctor Eoff's Tonic and Anti-Dyspeptic
IT has at all times been an object of peculiar im
romance to the medical world to discover some
medicine or combination of medicines, which would
operate in such FI manner as to cleanse the stomach
and intestines of all irritating mutter, and not debili
tate them. For the want of such a medicine. physici
ans hove rarely been able to cure a case of confirmed
dyspepsia or i riligest ion. to care which the whole ma
terio medics has been tried; from the most powerful
articles down to charcoal and wheat bran.
A temporary relief in such cases is sometimes pro
cured by the use of common emetics and purgatives,
but the debility or the stomach and bowels produced
by these medicines, soon brings in return of the distres.
sing symptoms, even aggravated, and often the rvme.
rly has been worse on the constitution titan the dis
ease.
These pills are offered to the public with the confi
dence, produced by long experience in practice, that
they will operate gently ns a purgative, and effectually
cleanse the stomach and bowels, without producing
sickness, nausea or debility. They can be used at an
times, by persons of all ages, without regard to diet.
drink, or exposure to wet or cold. They generally
improve the appetite. and in one hour after they are
taken, and are the best preventive of those diseases
generally termed bilious.
A few boxes of these pills are usually sufficient
to remove the most confirmed Dyspepsia with all its
distressing symptoms, such as sickness and sourness
of the stomach, loss of @petite, habitual costiveness,
despondency of mind, and a host of nervous
affections, with which every person laboring under the
disease is more or less afflicted.
As complaintsare sometimes made of disappoint
ment in the operation of these pills, owing to the tin
proper use or administration of them, as to time,
gnat - oily and age of the patient; we have published n
pamphlet. in which is set forth more fully the proper
manner of using the pit l• , toge.her with some of the
diseases in which the) are most applicable.
17F I hese pills will rarely overate as a ['motive
if more titan one mil betaken at a dose.

DISEASE OF THE LIVER.
DEAR SIR:--Agreeabte to your desire, I write to
keep you apprised of the prospects of the Clickener
Sugar Coated Purgative Pill, in this city. Yuu may
recollect, when I first commenced selling yorir medi

the success that world crown the undertaking. Oust
premises hod been on completely flooded by the ode
Thousand and one unsaleable remedy for every possi

kind. However, at the most urgent solicitation. we
consented to makes trial of yours. At first we (Musa

the vile compounds which have flooded the country for
the lost 15 years or more, that they determined, if
possible, never to be "taken in" again; and tins copse•
quence was, they could hardly be persuaded to accept
of the Pills, as the saying is, for "love nor money."
Thus marterrstiroceecled for a week or two, when, as
"good lurk would have it, "Mrs. N a lady of
our city, who had long suffered from en effective or

tine a fair trial, and if it proved to be worthless, it
would be a source of satisfaction to know it, both to
you and to us. No less to our Joy than surprise, hoer
ever, only a few days had elapsed, when the Indy again
presented hersel fat ottr counter and enquired for anoth

that your Pills ate beginning to work a great change
in my 'health, and altogether for the better. When r
took the second dose. I began to feel much betterthaa
I did at first; the pain in my side was considerably re
lieved; my appetite began to improve; and the blood
seemed to circulate through my veins as it did in easy
youthful days. Since then, I have taken the remainder
of the Bills, and my improvement has been sensibly
prtwressine at every repetition of the dose. I have
no doubt that a few more boxes will "effectually cur*
me." The result was as she predicted. Her health
is completely restored. The flush of youth and beau.

long and a happy life is before her. I am satisfied
she will never forget the Clickener Sugar• Coated
As might naturally be supposed, the nears of this es

are literally besieged by women, and children, labor

is heir to." The halt, the lame, and the blind; the
asthmatic, censumptive, end dyspeptic, are thronging
our doors in pursuit of the never•fuiling Panacea,—
Testimonials of its salutary effects are voluntarily
flowing in upon us from every quarter. One peewit
