FROM V K Boden, Esq. Clerk of the Court of
Quarter Sessions of Beaver county.
Mr. K E Sellers—Sir—Sometime in the winter my
wife was afflicted with a severe mid distreuing cough
and hearing of your invaluable Cough Syrup, I pur
chased a bottle from S T Trimble, Esq , in Bridgewa
ter, and after taking a portion of it two or three even
logs on going to bed, she found immediate relief; as al
so several friends hare been relieved in severe cases.
I am therefore satisfied that it is a safe and valuab:e
medicine, and would recommend it to those who may
be afflicted with severe coughs and colds.
Match 213, 1843, W, K. BODEN. 1
S T Trimble—Sir. The bottle or Sellars' Imperial
Cough Syrup which I purchased from you had theda
sired effect in relieving the oppression of my breast,
and effectually driving away my cough. I believe it
to be the best mixture is use, and feel confident that a
fair trial will produce the same relief in others.

I THE Citizens of Pittsburgh continue to be offered
an opportunity to effect insurance upon their prop.
erly, by a Domestic Institution, located among them
' selve.,bated upon Domestic Capital, and condected
by Directors, in whose prudence, integrity and good
faith; _bey can readily ascertain, whether they may
repose that undo.bted confidence and security, which
should ever attend an insurance ti ansaction.
To persons vi hose property has, already, been
damaged, or destroyed, by Fire or Water, the ' advan
toge of personally adjusting aloss with an institution,
ST none, will be strikingly evident. To those who
suffered by the Great Fire, this particular corporation
needs nu recommendation. The prompt payment of
the whole amount of its tosses—NEARLY TWO HTAD.
WA, THOUSAND DOLLARS-LS to them a sufficient
guarantee of future security.
It is the part of all prudent men, however fortunate,
to anticipate calamity for the purpose of avoiding its
effects. To such as have hitherto escaped, as well is
to those who have sustained loss, the facility of Pro
tection anti indemnity, offered by this institution, will
be the strongest inducement to avoid the reflections
and regrets which must be experienced by those who
suffer wit/iota hope of restitution.
