EXTENSION OF PITTSBURGH
pare Ohanae for good Investments !
HE subscriber has laid nut, and now offers for
T
sale at reasonable prices and on accommodating
terms, One hundred and ten building Lots, on that
handsome level ground between Braddock street and
the Monongahela river. They aro about one-third of
a mile from the city line, and are situated in That part
of the first city district which will probably soon be
annexed to the city as the Seventh Wald. No pro
pertvin thesuburbs possessessuperioradvantanges, nor
bus any heretofore been laid out with so liberal an rib
lowancc of wide streets; Braddock is froin one hun
dred
and twenty to about one hundred and ninety feet
wide, and Beelen, Commerce, Brady, Columbus and
Water streets all wide avenues. ?Oust of the lots have
two fronts, and as they are of .varions sizes, and will
be sold, one lot, with the privilege of four or five; early
applicants can he accommodated to suit their own
views of improvement. Persons who desire to build
or to make secure investments in property that is sure
to advance in value, and particularly those who intend
to erect manufactories, would do well to view these
Lots, and examine the shaft, before purchasing else
where. The survey for the Baltimore and Ohio Rail
Road era] the rail road survey by the State of Penn
sylvania were both made alongside of this property,
arid it is generally considered that Braddock street,
o r the ground immediately alongside of it, affords the
only eligible route fir a Rail Rued from Pittsburgh to
the East. Coal can be delivered on thispropeity at a
much less cost than on the Allegheny r iver, and there
is always deep water at this pa, t of the river.
