Acquittal of Mr M'Nulty,lateClerk of the House

States, at which hour the case was submitted to the
jury, alter undergoing a labored and patient investi
gation during fill entire week. The jury after re
maining in their room about an hour, brought into
Court a verdict of not guilty. The numerous spec
trams. which crowded the Court room, gavo a hear ty
and vpontuneous burst of applause when the verdict
was ani , ounced by the foreman of the jury. Mr M.
also roceited the congratulations of the jury and most
I ~f the members of tine bar, apon rho successful de
nouncement of this much-blazoned "case."
