the Boston Sun, ft run Drake's Express, thatlibe I tree
brick mill, occupied fur the manufacture of cotton
goods, by Charles Richmond, Egq, was destroyed by
fire on Friday morning. The fire commenced about
1 o'clock in the engine room. The factory was incur•
ed for about 420,000, it is said, et Worcester. The
insurance will not cover . one half the loss.
BTRAMIMAT Bella/ —The steamboat Native, says
the N 0 Delta of October Cupt Cooksey, took
fire on the 21st inst. while lying at Crane'. Landing,
Black River, and WLS burnt to the water's edge.—
The books, papers. and about four thousand dollars
worth of merchnndizo, belonging to Captain Cooksey,
were also consumed. The boat is alms' loss.
