EXTENSION OF PETTSBURG Aare Chance for good Investments THE subscriber has laid out, and now offers fo r sale at reasonable pekes and on accommodating terms, Oat Ausidred and len building Lott, on that handsome level ground between Braddock street and the Monongahela river. They ore about one-third of o mile from !be city line, and are situated in that part of the first city district which will probably soon be annexed to the city as the Seventh Ward. No pro perry n the suburbs possesses nu perior ad vantanges, nor has any heretofore been laid out with so liberal an al lowance of wide streets; Braddock is from one hun dred and twenty to about one bundled end ninety feet wide, and Beelen, Commerce, Brady, Columbus and Water streets all wide avenues. Moat of the lots have lino fronts, and as they are of various sizes, and will bo sold, one lot, with the privilege of four or five; early upolicants can be accommodated to suit their own views of improvement. Persons who desire to build or to make secure investments in property that is sure to advance in value, and particularly those who intend to erect manufactories, would do well to view these Lots, and examine the draft, before purchasing else where. The survey for the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road and the rail roud survey by the State of Penn. lvania were both mude alongside of this property, and it is generally considered that Braddock street, or the ground immediately alongside of it, affords the only eligible route for a Rail Road from Pittsburgh to the East. Coal can be delivered on this property at a much less cost than on the Allegheny river, and there is ul way' deep water at this part of the river. E. D. GAZZAM, aug2s-t(. A CURE: FOR CONSUMPTION SEVEN THOUSAND CASES Of obstinate Pulmonary Complaints cured in ONE YEAR. WISTAR'S BALSAM OF WILD CHER. BY, the great American Remedy for com plaints and affections of the Respiratory Organ.. We do not wish to traffic with the lives or health of the &Meted, and we sincerely pledge ourselves to make no assertions as to the virtues of this medicine, and to hold out no hopes to suffering humanity which facts will not warrant. • We ask the attention of the candid to the following considerations. Nature in every part of her works, has left ble minks of adaptation.and design. The constitution of the animals and vegetables of t he tor, hl, is such that they could nut endure the cold of the frigid zone, and vice versa. In regard to disease.aad its cure, the adaptation Is more or less striking.... The Moss of Iteland, the Wild Cherry and Pines of all Northern latitudes, (and Dr. Wistar's Balsam is compound and chemical extract from these.) have long been celebrated fur complaints prevalent only in cold climates. Indeed the most distinguished medi cal men have averred that nature furni.hes in every country medicines for its peculiar diseases, Consumption in its confirmed and incipient stages, Coughs, Asthma, Croup, and Liver complaint, form by far the mart fatal class of -diseases known to our land. Yet even these may be cured, by means of the simple yet powerful remedies, named above, and which are scattered, by a beneficient Providence, wherever those maladies prevail.
