It contains a full account of the "New 'York Fire,"—the nets by the Britannia and Great Western—Mai ket price; or burgh, Baltimore and Philadelphia, and a great V:1 ri . ety of other matter, interesting to the general reader. LOOK OUT.—We were on yesierday, shown by Al len Kramer, Esq., a note on the Clinton Bank of Co lumbus, 0., altered from ass to a $5O. The plate of the genuine $5O is very different from that of the $5; still it is well calculated to deceive persons not familiar with the notes of that Bank. The large number of persons in Pittsburgh, Allegheny and neiglibut hood, who, through the Agen cy of Messrs King & Finney, are insured in the Del aware Mutual Safety Insurance Company of Philadelphia, will be glad to learn that that favorite Institution has sustained t.o loss by the recent fire in New York. FIRE —About 5 o'clock, on yesterday afternoon, n fire took place in A Illegheny city, below the lower Bridge. Two houses and a stable were destroyed— the houses were occupied by Mr Geotge Day, and Mr James O'Hanion--the stable was owned by Mr Smith, a carter. It is believed to be the work cf an incen diary.
