pearance yesterday morning—Messrs. W. C. Test
and if. /CAIRN, editors. ft is neatly printed on an im
perial sheet, contains a large amount of reading mat
ter, and is altogether an interesting paper. In polltics
it is democratic bat promises that a goodly portion of
its columns shall be devoted to such matters as make
a paper interesting to the general reader. If the in
dustry and spirit displayed in the first number are
continued, the Ariel will be deserving of a liberal sup
port room the public,
Ear We learn it is the intention of the Supervisor,
to let the water into the new Aqueduct to-day, for the
regular admission of Boats. Mr. Roebling will re
ceive the thanks of the community at large for his
great exertion in completing this noble structure, in
the time allotted.
Err Our Market has now a fine supply of spring
vegetables, and some early fluit is making its appear
ance. We observed yesterday a lot of very fine straw
berries.

satisfied with having the lion's shnre of trade and
choice of hours in leaving Pittsburgh and Beaver, but
now publicly and plainly Any they will drive the Lake
Erie from the river—n generous public will decide.—
