"P. %CLINT'S CLOTHING STORE."—We were en
gaged in devising some new and striking phrases fur
the purpose of -drawing public attention to this fine es
tablishment, when we were furnished with a scrap of
Machine Poetry about it, which we are assured is
positively the very latest parody on Pox's "Raven."
If it were not that the writer takes a sober reality fur
a theme, we should topsider he was a "ravin " him
"elf. By the way, Mr. Paz has much to answer for
in turning loose all the poetry machines in the country,
and causing them to rattle on at such a remorseless
rate. In describing the wonders of Dat.our's store,
the "machine" must have run in a very exact manner
--every screw and cog kept its place.
