WORTHY Fates n:—Having made a thorough trial of the Medicated Vavor Bath for four months past, in our societies in New Lebanon and Watervliet, we think it but justice to state, that we Consider it a valuable improvement in the healing art. Its power in reduc ing both chronic and acute inflamation, also in remov ing spasms, is certainly very great. In cases of ob structed perspiration, it is unquestionably the safest and best remedy that we have ever seen. Several persons in our society, who were scarcely free from a catarrhal affection daring most of the winter months for several years past, have found permanent relief by using the Bath a few times; and the predisposition to take cold, as it is commonly termed, seems to be whol ly removed. Obstructed - perspiration, is certainly in our changeable climate, one of the most fruitful sour ces of disease, and any remedy that is capable of re moving the predisposition to it, must be considered a great blessing to mankind; and as such we do not hesi tate to recommend the Medicated Vapor Bath. The various kink of cooking it is calcu lated to do at the same time, and the small quantity of fuel required, makes it an object worthy the atten tion of all who desire a good move. ra p I embrace this opportunity to recommend the Hot Air Cooking Stoves; I have used the one you put op for me constantly all summer, and I most say it is a grand article. I belirve it is superior to any other stove now in use in this city. The oven bakes well, and is large enough to bake four large loaves of bread at one time; it also cooks very speedily, and it requires very little coal, Ithink them worthy the attentrou aid!, who wish a good stove, to such I would say, try them and prove what they are. act 11-d&wly MATH EW PATRICK. 17000 FIRE B I ZI K C ° S Z h OTPS n tt i o7 sale Oct 3@ tio7,Cotomoisi Bow, Liberty street. ...-,..--*: ..-.#;; ~,,,.:;',,,..-v...,...•,.,..4, THOMAS VARNER k/ 1114.4"111 ' Dim tx4264.Byorinut . .
