I, ALEXANDER HAY,
Ntittyor of the said city. do issue this. my Proclamation,
declaring that on ihe Second Tuesday of January, A,
D., 1845, being the 14th, day of that mouth, •"the rice
men of each Ward of said city qualified to vote for
the 'cambers of the House of Representatives of this
' Commonwealth," will meet together at the tprual place
of holding elections in their respective %Voids, and e
lect by ballot, one person in each and every Ward
qualified to serve as members of the House of Repre
sentatives of this Commonwealth, to be a member of .
the Select Councii, and five porn , ntr qualified as afore
said, in each and every Wald, to be members of the
Common Council.
