SICIAN of high standing in Ohio.
Dear Sir—Having had occasion to witness the ef
feet of Dr. Duncen's Expectorant Remedy on Mr Eli
Young in a case of Pulmonary Consumptinn, 1 felt it
my ditty to make a brief statement in order that others
that are or may he afflicted with the same complaint
maybe benefitted by the same remedy.
lie ass attacked with inflammation in the left lobe
of the lungs in March 1843, attended with acute pale,
great difficulty of breathing, and a severe cough, which
preceded rapidly to auppuration: and not withstanding
the use and application fifthe best remedies prescribed
by Sur authors, the complaint in a few days began to
exhibit evident symptoms of ulceration.
In this distressing stage of the complaino had m
eat:lse to Dr Denean's Expectorant Remedy for con
sumption, which had the effect of chocking the disease
immediately, and in a few slays the pain c eased, the
breathing become free and easy, the cough left him,
and the expectoration subsided, the consequences of
which was that in using six bottles he has recovered
his health, and is restdred to his family.
1 do heteby certify tho 'hose to be true statement of
YOU
my case as far as comes within my knoiviesige.

Mr. R. DoNAvos—Sir:—l have had in use for five
months, one of linthaway's Hot Mr Conkinr Stoves.
and I have nn hesitati6 in saying it ie tiro best sieve
now in uw... The various kinds of cooking it is calcu
lated to do at the sumo limo, and the small quantity
of fuel tequired, mikes it an object worthy the atten
lion of all who desire a good stove.
THOMAS VARNER.
EV" I embrace this opportunity to recommend the
Hot Air Cooking Stoves; I have used the one you pot
up for me constantly all summer. and I must say it is
a grand article. I believe it is superior to any other
stove now in use in this city. The oven bakes well,
and is large enough to bake four luree loaves of bread
at one time; it also cooks very speedily, and it requires
very little coal. 'think %bees worthy the attention or all
who wino a good stove; tosuck I would say, try them
and move what they are.
