tbed in their purity, if so it pleases us, withdut pay
ing a pepper price with freight andpremium added.

THE Allegheny Mutual Insurance Company, corn
menced issuing policies the 18th May last.
The Policies and applications for Insurance four
times exceed the amount its charter required to com
mence with, creating a fund already sufficient to meet
any probable loss that may occur; as is tested by all
