    roAXYPV.ILELX A CCIDF.NT.—.I4 Mr J W Benantucr,
of this city, was returning from East Liberty, on
Thursday evening, his horse became restive at the
atone bridge, near Minersville, and before Mr B. could
get command of him, be backed the carriage,.in which
Mr and Mrs Burbridge were sitting, over a precipice.
Mrs B. was rescued as soon as possible, and brought '
tolbe city, and as nobodily injurieS were visible, hopes
wee.i entertained that she might recover, but the efforts
of the best medical men were unavailing; she died
about 10 o'clock, without having, evinced any signs of
consciousness from the time the accident occurred.
