eminent medical men he could find; being given up as

MSDICATLD VAPOP. BATH; after taking the Bath and
Medicines for five days, he went to work at his trade,
and has been able to work at it every day since. Per
sons afflicted in the same way .Itin be referred to Mr.
Means himself, and other gentlemen who are well ac
quainted with his case, by calling at our office on Fifth
Street, next door to the Pittsburgh Foundry.

and flaxseed meal are plenty here, and we can eat

TIMER COMPLAINT cured by the use of Dr

MIJTUAL PROTECTION AGAINST FIRE.
HE Allegheny Mutual Insurance Company, com
menced issuing policies the 1,13 th May last.
The Policies and applications for Insurance four
times excoed the amount its charter required to com
rcence with, creating a fund already sufficient to meet
any probable loss that may occur; as is tested by all
the reports of well conducted institutions of the kind,
and daily augmenting its capital by the accession of
new members.
The terms of Insurance are as favorable as those of
any other institution in the city, and its principles need
