iliailp Aloining epos#. PITTSBURGH, PA. FRIDAY MORNING, JUNE 28, 1844 Niw PUBLICATIONE. -- CooK has received the July No of the Ladies' Companion. It is a beautiful number of a most beautiful Magazine. Rose D'Albree is the title of a new work from the pen of that very popular novelist, JAstas. It is for sale at Cooks. &Ls or Loyi.—The sale of lots belonging to the estate of the late AARON HART, deceased, will be continued on the premises this morning, commencing at 10 o'clock precisely. TRIC DIORANAS.—This beautiful and rational exhi bition is nightly adding to its well deserved popularity. The performance delights .It and we are pleased to observe the unusual good order that is invariably pre served. After the Dioramic scenes are over, it is worth double the price of admission to witness the effect produced on the audience, by the really extraor dinary and hembrous performance of the Italian Fan toccini. As a matter of course the rosy youngsters enjoy unbridled mirth, while those of an older age and more serious turn soon follow suit. The descent of the curtain at the conclusion, is apparently the most unacceptable part of the evening's performance. We are glad to find that there is no prejudice existing against the building, among the religious portion of our community, as we observed several of our most es teemed clergymen with their families, in the first tier of boxes, surrounded by the elite and beauty of Pitts burgh. Courteous reader, believe me, these lines are not wrote, As a pitiful puff, to sell pants or a coat; 1 would not by any be thought to suppose, That lengthy pi afessions e'er brought cheaper cloths! Suffice it to say, there is none to compete IV ith the fur famed IWCt.osKv.v, in Liberty street; He carries the sway and his name 's so well known, That they crowd his 'Big Doors' from all parts of town, They may talk of their cheapest, their finest and m2l-3m EDWARD SIMpSON strongest. It's not true-.-and all know that Mac's Clothing wears longest; They may talk of 'first cost,' of 'half price' or a third, But to cope with M'Closkey, tin plainly absurd ; His stock's so immense and hia custom so great, That by forty per cent be can all others beat; M'Closkey well knows how far jealousy goes, But he challenges all to produce such cheap clothes, Men of country and town, learn this wondrous result, His rivals would dare all your judgments insult, They fain would induce you to - believe other stores, Sold as good and as cheap as tho great "Three Big Doors." But M'Closkey will praise you fur judgment and skill, For from him you have purchased and will do so still, And well for yourselves were your real bargains made, For they stand far the cheapest of all in the trade, From the Judge of our Courts to the Lumberman's hut, You may see in a moment M'Closkey's fine cut; There are three great essentials on which M'Closkey prides, Durability, symmetry, and best clolkes besides. Before he concru&s, Mac ne'er can forget, The brilliant success which his "Big Doors" have met; He thanks each sincerely in this "culling" age, For their kindness, their favor, and warm patronage; Then visit his stock—it's examined by scores— And you surely will buy at the famous Big Door. ; To his depot then hie—he will proudly you greet,— Remember, M'CLosKE7, in Liberty street. juno 7-2 w FOR SALE LOW.
