From its dungeon of torturing clay,

WREAT CROP Of THE UNITED STATES.—The
Prairie Farmer, published at Chicago, (I 11.) says.—
"If there be not a larger wheat crop in the United
States this season, or in the West at any rate, than

seen and been informed that more wheat was sown

far as . we have been able to learn, it has been uninjured
by the weather. The early opening of the Spring will
hasten its growth so that there will be little danger
frOm rust; and this being the chief canse of fear for
wheat in this region, wo think the prospect is good for
U. large crop."

and become acquaiwedwith the ingredients of its com
position, I cheerfully say, I considerit one of the safest,
as it is one of the most pleasant tooth washes now in
use. a DAVID HUNT, Dentist.
Pittsburgh, Sept. 15, 1842
I take pleasure in stating, having made use of
"Thorn's Tea Berry Tooth Wash," that it is one of the
hest dentrifices in use. Being in °liquid form it com
bines neatness with convenience. While it cleanses
the enamel and removes the tartar from the teeth, its
perfume yields a fragrance peculiarly desirable.
The undersigned have used "Tharn's Compound
Tea Berry Tooth Wash," and have found it to be an
extremely pleasant dentrifice, exercising a most salu
tary influence over the Teeth and Gums; preserving
those indispensable members from premature decay,
preventing the accumulation of Tartar, and purifying
the Breath. Having thoroughly tested its virtues, we
take pleasure in recommending it to the public, believ
ing it , o he the best article of the kind now in use.
