1844, entitled " An Act to authorize the Governor to
incorporate the Delaware Canal Company," liertly

the first div. the sales will be adjourned to the next
and succeeding days, if necessary, fur nineteen days
in succession, and if, on the twentieth day, it shall ap
pear that less than twenty-five thousand statues shall
have been sold, in that case the sales shall be declared
void, and the deposites made with the commissioners
shall be returned to the purchasers respectively.

him by the commissioners, the following agreement:
