CURE OF A CANCEROUS SORE.
SINO SING, January 21,1843
Doctor Benjamin Braodrah—lionnred Sir: Owing to
you a debt of gratitude that money cannot pay, I am
induced to make a puhlic acknowtedgemlint of the benefit
my ivl:"ei has derived from your Invaluable pills. About
three years thiS winter she was taken with a pain In per
ankle, which soon became very much inflamed and
swollen, so much so that we became alarmed, and sent
for the doctor. During, his:mend:lnce time pain anti swell
ing increased to an alarming degree, and In three weeks
from its first commencing it became a running sore.—
She could get no rest at night the pain was so great.—
Our firq. Doctor attended her fur six months, and she
received no benefit whatever, the pain growing worse.
and the sore larger all the while. He said if it was heal
ed up it would lie her death, but he appeared to lie at a
lon how to proceed, amid my prior wife still continued
to stiffer the most terrible tortures. We therefore sought
other aid Ina Botanical doctor, who said when he first
fat , / it that lie could soon cure the sore, and give her
ease al once, To our surprise he use her no relief,
and acknowledged that 0 baffled all his skill.
Thus we felt slier having tried during One whole year
the experience of two celebrated physicians in vain, In
absolute despair. My poor wife's constitution rapidly
tailing in the prime of her years from her continued
suffering, Under there circumstances we coneluded that
we would try your Universal Vegetable Pills.dmermitied
to fairly test their curative effects. To my wife's great
comfort the first few doses afforded great relief of the
pain. %Vitnin one week, to the astonishment of our.
