usefulness by calling forth the slumbering talems of
our citizens, and diffusing among our people, in a
cheap and pleauttt mode, thit valuable sad diversified

lated to elicit. It is equally gratifying to witness the I
decided improvement in the taste of our people, and
the disposition they manifest to encourage the men of
talent among tla. The complete success which at
tended the Lectures delivered before the Wirt Insti
tute, is a sufficient guarantee, that the coming ones in
the University will m. et with that patroiage that the
ability of the Lecturers and the importance of the
subjects, should entitle them to receive.
The Lsctures wi I be continued on every Tuesday
night, until the middle of March next.
