frjeja THE TAILORESSEE held their meet•
log yesterday at 3 o'clock, in Temperance
Rail. It was quite numerously attended,
and ' - evidenced a determination to free
themselv e s from the hardships they now
staffer, and to secure a just renurneration
for their toil. They had the pleasur•l of
hattlig two excellent speeches from Messrs
Palmer and Ward. A bill of prices was
also submitted by a committee previously
appointed. The Ladies, feeling somewhat
deieete in expressing their opinions before
to many gentlemen, it was moved that the
Consideration of the bill be deferred until
Monday next, at 3 o'clock, when they
will meet by themselves, and consider it.
