I O r CURE OF A CANCEROUS SORE.
Flew Brno, January 21,1843•
Doctor Benjamin Brireetsetk —Honored Sir: Owing le
you a debt of gratitude that money cannot pay, 1 am
Induced to make a public acknowledgemhitt of the benefit
my wife has derived from yolks Invaluable pills. About
three years this winter site was lakeu with a pain in her
ankle, which soon became very much inflamed and
swollen, so much so that we became alarmed, and sent
for the doctor. During his al,endance the pain and swell
in; increased to an alarming degree, and In three weeks
fiom Its first commencing it became a running sore
She could get no rest nt ni:ht the pain wan so greet
Our first, Doctor attended her for six months, anti she
received no benefit whatever, the Fain ,growing worse.
and the sore larger all the while. Reseed it it was heal
ed up it would be her dea th , but he appeared to,lre. at a
loss how a proceed. and my poor wife stilt continued
to suffer the most terrible tortures. We therefore sought
other aid in a Botanicat doctor, who said when he first
saw it that he could coop sure .the sore, and give her
ease at once. To our serprise ihe give her no relief,
and acknowledged that it blaisd'ltli his skill.
Thus we felt after having tr led during one whole year
the experience of two celebrated physicians in vain, In
absolute despair. My poor wife's constitution rapidly
tailing in the prime of tier years Rom her continued
suffering, Under these circumstance* we concluded that
we would try your Universal Vegetable Pills, determined
to fairly test their curative elTerte. To my wife's great
comfort the first few doses afforded great relief of the
pain. W it 'tin one week, to the astonishment of our
selves and every one who knew of the carte. the swelling
and the inflammation began to cease so that she fell quite
easy, and would sleep comfortahly, and, sir, after six
weeks' use she wan aide to go through the houw. and
again attend lo the management of her family. which
she had not done for nearly 14 months. In a little over
two months from the time she first commenced the use
of your invaluable Tills, her ankle was quite sound, and
her health better than it had been le quite a number of
years before. I send you this statement after 'we years
test of the cure, considering It only an act of justice to
you and the public at large.
We are, with much gra hods,
Very respectfully,
TIMOTHY 4- ELIZA A. LITTLE.
P. S. The Bolanieal Doctor pronounced the sore ran

whole of the flesh was rut off, and the bone scraped.—
Thank a kind Providence, this made us resort to your
pills, which saved us from all farther misery, and for
which we hope t • be thankful. T. 4. E. L.
