A Parade
We - publish , to-day, an advertisement
for an encampment of volunteers in the
Borough of Elizabeth, on the 11th, 12th,
and 13th of September next. The ad•
tiantages of the location selected for the
camp, and the well known hospitality and
urbanity of the people of the borough and
nn doubt draw together a large
number'. of volunteers, and make the en
etuipment a pleasant one.

No. of which is printed in this city, and for
sale at Isaac Harris's and the "Age" Of
fice• The subject is full of interest, and
seems to be ably discussed. The work
will be completed in six numbers;

This is a new invention of our ingenious
townsman, Mr John Dunlap, wha has oh•
tamed a patent for it, and has commenced
its manufacture on an extensive scale.—
The beauty and neatness of this new at
tide, and its great usefulness, can only be
ascertained by a personal examination.—
And we would recommend all who want
an article of the kind, or who take any
pride in the progress of Pittsburgh in me
chanical invention and manufactures, to
call upon the enterprising and intelligent
inventor,at his establishment, No. 26, Mar

The fire at Miltenberger's on Friday
night did very little damage.
Theatre.—Joc.ko-sot had a tolerably
good house on Saturday night. The Pit
was crowded.
To—night, the entertainments are for the
benefit of Mr. Pickering and the little fa
vorite, Miss Cohen. Their bill is a good
one and will be well served up.
Yesterday was remarkable for being the
first dry Sunday we have had for about
two months.
